Truglo sights

Anyone have experience with these sights? Can they stand recoil without coming loose?

I just put a set of Truglo low profile sights on my Winchester 1300 20ga with short barrel for HD. These are the sights that have a plastic sub base that snaps onto my 3/8 rib. Then the metal sight slides on to the plastic base to lock in place. No glue or magnet. They seem tight. I will test soon. But will they stay put under repeated recoil? This comes in front & rear sight set. The rear site has windage only adjustment...but are very low profile.

I would appreciate any experience you have with regards to these sights.

I've got an older set of truglo's on my Mossberg 835. They're the metal clip on variety similar to what you describe. I've shot everything from light field loads to heavy 3.5 inch turkey loads and buckshot without a hitch. They've stayed tight. I ended up taking the rear sight off of mine though and just going with the front sight. Didn't really do much for me and I was spending too much time trying to aim a shotgun like a rifle.

Thanks rantingredneck. Mine is just a 20ga. Based on your input I now feel confident these new sights will stay put.

I put one on my Winchester Model 12. I went bird hunting crazy this year and the thing doesn't move. It's a very tight fit. For the money I think they're excellent. I'm not completely sure how much it helps me though. But it sure seems effective.
