Believers in Freedom located in Southern California:
Looks like it's time again to mobilize for more TRT action down in SoCal, folks. We did well on Mother's Day, and it's time to rally again and protest in the name of freedom.
I received a fax today from a fellow CA TRT member who got mailed this notice by the local Democrats themselves. Nice to know they're not infallible $
I did some calling to verify and it seems that this event has not even been announced by Susan Davis' office yet except for faxes sent to a chosen few. For some reason, they didn't want the newspapers getting ahold of it early...
THE EVENT:

PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON will be in San Diego to attend a fund-raiser for Assemblywoman Susan Davis, Candidate for U.S. Congress, 49th Congressional District (San Diego, CA). She is running against incumbent Republican Brian Bilbray.
THE PLACE:

The El Cortez Hotel (newly restored and just reopened) 702 Ash Street, San Diego
THE DATE & TIME:
----------------------------
June 22, 2000, Thursday, from 5 PM to 7 PM.
What do you think, folks? Just a few hours of fun after work next week! Please spread this word far and wide, and let's see how many folks we can get to show up and give the Prez a warm SoCal welcome! God knows he deserves it.
In addition to pro-Second Amendment folks this time, this gig can bring in Republicans, Libertarians, maybe even some labor groups who are unhappy with the favored status being given to China -- in other words, a lot of people have reasons to dislike Clinton, so make up some signs and come on down! As always, the more the merrier, and a lot of people at something like this is crucial!
Constructive ideas, tactics, things-to-watch-out-for are welcome. We have one week to prepare if we are going to do this.
