Troublesome Part in Advantage Arms .22LR Glock conversion kit

The kits are available again for "nearly all models" from GlockMeister. And I received delivery of a kit for my G27 yesterday.

But I DIDN'T Expect for it to have a "Cheesy looking" loosly fitting VERY THIN Flat aluminum sliding separate part in the slide for the .22 casing ejection....

Can ANYONE Who Has Used The Kit Extensively Please Tell Me If That NOTCHED THIN Flat "ROD" Works Dependably And FLAWLESSLY Over Long Use for .22 brass Ejection??...Please?

That flimsy component that is not "attached" to anything has me conserned.

thanks,
dS

I'm not sure if they are the same, but my AA conversion for the 17/34 runs like a top and is accurate as well.

Thanks for telling me that it doesn't ever come "un-notched" during firing.

A question please:
I read something about the AA kits needed lubing the slider AND BORE before first use.
Did I read that right? clean/lube the BORE before first using? (I can understand the slider, but the bore?)
