Trouble with CD Little Sharps

Hi guys. I suddenly lost the half-cock safety position on my Charles Daly Little Sharps rifle. The hammer will only stay at the full-cock position. Otherwise the rifle works fine. Any ideas?

I would take the lock off and clean it, there may be dirt/dried oil causing the problem.

At this time you can check for a broken half cock notch. If thats the case then a new tumbler is needed. Right now I can't remember who bought all the CD parts, maybe Numrich co. As CD has closed their doors.

i just checked my cd little sharps and every thing is fine with the lock works. i think taylor is importing them now so parts should be advailable. eastbank.

A friend of mine brought his over doing pretty much the same thing yours is doing. I pulled the lock and found the screws that hold the parts in place had come loose, you might check yours.
