Trophy.

Sounds awful complicated. I'd be tempted to print out a pretty little certificate on my computer and use a cheap frame.

But, I've never been known for my generosity. In fact, some people consider me an insufferable boor.

A plaque would be far less expensive than a trophy.

Take any old nice but expendable trophy you or a friend might have... Buy a nice toy or maybe garage-sale-BB-C02 automatic pistol... (as close to full size as you can get)... Spray-paint it gold... Mount it nicely on the trophy... Voila!

If it was me who won, . . . a gift box all wrapped up pretty with a bow and a ribbon, . . . holding 500 rounds of .45 ACP would be a pretty trophy.

I could shoot the bullets, . . . fill the box with sand, . . . and keep my "Trophy" on the shelf.

May God bless,
Dwight

PS: I'm not necessarily "cheep", . . . just lean more to "practical", . . . and never did find a really good use for "trophys".

Nice piece of wood, stained nice with spent 9mm rounds around the edge as a frame, engraved plaque with club name date and catagory. You'll have to drill out holes for the rounds to fit tight.

How about a nice photo and picture frame,,,

Wouldn't need to be big,,,
A 4" by 6" or a 5" by 7" picture will do fine.

But engrave the frame with the match info and the shooters name,,,
Then insert a nice photo of him taken when the match winner is announced.

A 8x10 plaque looks pretty good and is cheaper then a trophy.
