Triton Bren Ten?

I read on another board that Triton would be resurrecting the Bren Ten as their first pistol offering. Anyone have any info on this? Am I just suffering from wishful thinking? Their website mentions nothing but that piece on the title page looks suspiciously familar.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. It's been tried before and never worked out. Even if it does make it into manufacturing, I'd still be highly suspicious of it.

Fernando is concerned about demand, but he has purchased all the tooling and intellectual property for the Bren. Some engineering design changes will be made, one is to get rid of the bushing in the end of the slide to make it more like a High Power. You could see a pre-production prototype introduced at the SHOT Show in New Orleans in January, 2001. It may not get introduced until later that year. No matter when it is introduced do not expect it to be available before the fall of 2001 at the earliest. The anticipated retail price was under $1000.

If demand is the problem, people like me are the solution. I've always wanted one but can't afford an orginal.

Hey, Ferndando! Put me down for one! And, if you make a .45/10 mm combo, make that two. And a .22 conversion kit. And a .40/.357 conversion kit. And . . . and hell, you won't have time to make ammo!

And don't forget to make the new mags the dimensional duplicates of the original. I think there may be as much money here as in making the gun, if not more (liability, democratic clowns/criminals suing your a--, etc.)
