Tristar viper NWTF

My dad gave me a tristar viper NWTF he had won in a raffel awhile back and never fired (he's very partial to his 870). After a lilltle bit of confusion with the o-ring placement, witch prevented the gun from fireing, the gun shot wonderful! I've researched the gun extensivly and have found very little positive reviews. I've put about 500 shells of various makes and types (mostly birdshot for clays) without a single jam, misfire, or problem at all. It shoots straight and I like the tru-glo sights. Are they just underrated of do I have one of the only ones that accually works right? What are your experences and opinions on this gun?
 
i also have the tri star viper and it is a very good shotgun. when i got it i tried to find info on the gun with little success. i did see a review online where the guy left the gun outside and had ice all over it and it still worked without a problem. mine is the shorter self defense model and it has been flawless since i got it. can't ask for more than that from any gun.
