They really do. I have been there. Actually, Ace hand quite a selection of hunting and even some tactical gear. I was rather amazed.
 
Uh, no. From Tampa, Alpine is pretty much is left (south) of your flight path on the way to ABQ.

Why not just buy from Tripp? If they are currently out of stock, Google Ace Hardware in Alpine and ask for the gun counter.
