Triple K Mags and the Unpopular Polymer

Amid all of this HS-2000 hysteria. Some of us still cling
to our long outdated, old style CZ75s.

I'm told that the HS-2000 i now the standard issue weapon of
all CRO Army and Police?

Until someone shows me a pic Croatian police (MUP) or Army
cop (Vojne Policija) i'll not believe it. Seems too new of
a design to be fielded already to a large national police
force and the entire Vojne.

No doubt it is a great gun, it's just not combat proven
like the 'MOOPA' issued CZ75.

Which leads me to another Police issue Polymer framed
9mm service pistol. one of the CZ models issued to the
Czech Nnational Police, but finds little favor in the US..
due to its heavy DAO trigger.

However, they are still CZs, and therefore, rugged, and
dependable, accurate and affordable, at approx. 325.00 on the net.I'm seeing some increased interest in them on CZF, but most are heart-broken over the demise of the very promising CZ-110.

Like any new CZ pistol. The supplied Clinton Mags truly Suck, but geniune CZ or aftermarket mags are plentiful.

Do any of you have TRIPLE K CZ75 Mags?? I know what doesn't
work, but tell me about Triple Ks in CZs. Do they rattle
like the Pro-Mags??

Nice to see CZFers on TFL.This is a great forum. Best to all of you..

See you in the ZONE,

Better start believing. Contrary to what many think, the HS2000 isn't a new design. It is new to the U.S. as an import but the Croatians have been using the pistol as standard issue for a few years. Before the HS2000, there was an HS95. The HS2000 is just a modification to the the HS95. Like the Ruger P89 is to the P85.

On http://www.hs2000talk.com, we have a member who is in the Croatian military. The only ones allowed to have a pistol without going through a long enduring process is the military and police. He says that he has been carrying the HS2000 for a few years now. The purpose of this pistol wasn't to be imported to the U.S. The Croatian government contracted IM Metal to design a pistol for the military and police. This pistol was designed on CAD systems by several different engineers incorporating the newest technology.

Definately, the CZ75B is still a top notch pistol. I haven't heard anyone with any sense at all criticizing it. It's like the 1911. It has made a legend of itself. But give the HS2000 some time to make a name for itself. Granted, it is new in the U.S., but it is selling like hotcakes. We'll see what happens with it.

Thanks, i was not aware of an earlier version. A lot of neat
weapons and designs came from wartime workshops. You guys
have any way of deactivating the grip safety? Or is it bothersome?

Do you know of any USA police depts that issue it?
I checked out the website.

Seen some longtime GTers are there..like DNixon. who
is pretty cool.

With the price of a new or even used Glock, i can see why
the CRO pistol sells well.

Are there any aftermarket mags that will fit?

Anyone have any CZ75 mags from Triple K, that they can comment on??

Why disable the grip safety? You don't even notice it. You can use 92F mags in it with a small (legal) modification. You can also use Taurus 92 mags in it.
