Hey guys any opinions on these mags? I have a few foe my 1911 guns and they work fine, but how do the hi cap ones work? should i stick to factory Ruger mags? I am having trouble finding Ruger hi caps in my area. The only ones are $50 each and they are not even factory! Are there any other good brands out there? Thanks, 45automan

I've heard that Rugers are pretty good with Promags, Mec-Gars, and of course FACTORY

Couple days ago someone said mags for the older P89 (what I have) do work in the P95. I got extended mags from Cheaper Than Dirt ($15 range). Don't remember a brand. My 15 and 20 rounders work dandy. I don't recomend the 30 rounder since mine fails lots.

The Triple K mags I bought have pretty good bodys and springs. I put Ruger followers in them. The followers that came in them would sometimes hold the slide open with one round left in the mag. (My experience, yours may vary). Followers are available from Ruger for $1.50 each. They have been without fault after the new followers were installed.

I know must everyone around here says usa mags are crap, but midway has usa 15 round p-85 mags for $9.99 including shipping. I'm not sure if they will fit the p-95. Just thought I would mention it. I have one usa mag for my highpower and it didn't work very well. I don't know about how the ones for ruger's work.

I've had good uck with Pro-Mag brand mags in five different KP-95s, but haven't tried the Triple-Ks.

I do have several Triple K brand mags for my Marlin Camp 9s, and they all function fine.
