Trijicon HD front sight and Glock factory rear

I just picked up a set of Trijicon HDs (yellow)- they are quick on target and I like the glow. However the rear sight, as many have mentioned, is darn near razor sharp. I've already scraped my forearm and anticipate I could be slicing through some clothing while carrying concealed.

Option one- do I file down the edges to make them less likely to slice and dice skin and clothing? If so, what is the best method of filing them down?

Option two- has anyone ever just used the front sight and kept the factory (in this case) Glock rear? I'm one of those in the minority that actually likes the factory Glock sights (and will probably keep them on my G26) but as my G17 is my nightstand gun and often EDC, I want the night sight capability.

Option three- what's the best recommendation for a blacked-out U rear sight?

Thanks.

I, too, like the factory rear plastic sight in combination with a Trijicon front sight. For the distance that I'm apt to shoot my carry gun in low light a glowing front sight is all I need. I have 2-3 carry Glocks set up this way.
