After working just fine for months and months, my Kel Tec is misbehaving.
After 15 rounds, the trigger wont return to the original position.
Then it may fire for some rounds and do it again.
Any tips before I send it to the factory?
Go to the Kel-Tec Owners Group web site at WWW.KTOG.ORG.
Chances are a return spring has slipped off the rear of the transfer bar, or broken.
Pictures on the site will show you how to do the minor disassembly needed to diagnose/figure it out, and you can probably fix it yourself.
If the problem is obvious, you can certainly get the parts from Kel-Tec faster than you can send the gun and get it back. Chances are they'll send you the necessary piece (or pieces) free.
Their turnaround time has slowed a bit in recent months, as they are ramping up production of the new P-32. They're working around the clock, 7-days a week, and they can't keep up with demand.
Snakeman , that scares the hell out of me!
I want to buy a P11 & the new .32cal. Reliablility is kinda crucial. Please let
us know what the problem was , so we can use it as reference!
