New Here:
I have an Old Midland Gun Co. 30-06, and is has a pretty heavy trigger pull.
Does anyone know if it can be adjusted.
Any help would be great.

Midland Gun receivers were made in England according to my limited info probably right after WW2. I have one marked M98/03 which used a Springfield 1903 bolt. Externally it seems to match up with the M98 Mauser including the trigger mechanism. Not sure what will fit commercially, but you could locate a 'smith that knows some of the old tricks for reducing trigger travel and pull for the original M98. I'm building a 35 Whelan on mine but haven't had time for any government projects in a while. Here endeth the epistle. Goatwhiskers the Elder

Almost any trigger can be adjusted, but some are tricky and some adjustments can be unsafe. Like Goatwhiskers, I think that is basically a Mauser 98 action, and the normal trigger work (mostly polishing the engagement surfaces) should reduce the pull significantly. An after market trigger MIGHT fit with no problem or might require fitting. I don't recommend a DIY project unless you are aware of what is involved.
