Trigger Jobs

I'm looking to get a trigger job on my XD. I have been looking at Tactical Technologies and Springer Precision. Their stuff looks very similar. Anyone have any suggestions. I know a couple guys that have some of Tactical Technologies and are very pleased, just looking forthe best possible product for my cash.

I've used both the Springer Precison Trigger bars and the Powder river Precision Safety levers on two XD .45 with great results. The Springer trigger bar requires careful lapping to adjust it while Powder River is now supposedly making a drop-in triger bar limit/stop piece that works well with their safety lever. I'm not a big fan of Powder River's original drill-and-tap set screw method for trigger bar adjustment on the .45s. The drop-in limit device solves this problem but I have yet to use one.
If you dont want to do the work yourself, wither source will work on your gun for you. For this last option I'd suggest Springer...top nothc work and good people.
Cheers,
Jorge

You may want to rethink installing that Tactical Technologies kit. I'm not sure what kit you got from them but if it has the x-tech sear in it, your drop safety has effectively been rendered useless. This has been covered in depth over at xdtalk.com this is a link:

I'm all for doing trigger jobs on the xds but like all pistolsmithing it needs to be done responsibly by someone that knows what they are doing. Selling parts that disable safeties is frankly irresponsible regardless of the intended use for the pistol.
