Trigger job in Phoenix

I'm looking for recommendations for gunsmith in the Phoenix area who is especially skilled at S&W double action triggers. I know it is a service that most any gunsmith will offer but I also know (from experience) that some smiths are more skilled than others. I've had a couple botched jobs that led to light primer strikes and an action that still doesn't feel as buttery smooth as I'd like. My personal favorite triggers have been a couple of revolvers that had S&W factory tuned triggers. I guess I could ship guns back to the factory for trigger work but I'm looking for a local smith that can replicate that feel while maintaining reliablity. Thanks in advance!

Frank Glenn. He's not only one of the top revolver 'smiths in the country, he's generally one of the most respected and happens to live in Phoenix. Don't know about his wait time, though.

32st just north of shea is THE GUNSMITH. His name is Nelson Ford and has done about 4trigger jobs on every revoler and mostly all my 1911's. He does a 3lb on my 1911's as per my request. 100%no creep 100% no overtravel and the disco n sear r wonderfully smoth too. I highly reccomend him. Tho hes not a fast turnaround and expect it to be tyere 2-4weeks. Mine r usually there 3wks to a month but for the quality he does-Its fine by me. And his prices are very very reasonable and comparable. Give him a call. Its "The Gunsmith" ill check back since i am out n about n give you his number. Good luck. TC1 and fwiw. I live in phoenix too.

I second Nelson ford. He does great work.

Quirky? Heck no just pay in cash and don't ask him to work on some poodle shooter or com block stuff

I know this thread is.old but I go to Nelson Ford in 32st n Shea for all mywork. He's done plenty of trigger jobs and they r perfect. No creep and the loweest I've done to one is 3#. His.combat pkg is great and his.reliability pkg is worth it. I can run anything thru any.of.my.1911s.

Nelson Ford has done maybe 10 Smith revolvers for me, mostly K-Frames, and his action job is superb. Nothing I've tried, ever, has as smooth a trigger.

He stands behind his work, too. His personality is a bit brash, but he's a nice guy underneath.
