trigger guard for cynergy

I bought a new Browning Cynergy about two years ago and I use it maybe twice a month during warm seasons. Couple months ago the trigger guard become somewhat loose but now it can even fall out. Any suggestions?

Also I usually put a trigger lock on trigger guard and wonder if it could contribute to the problem.

Finally, is there any danger in shooting without trigger guard?

Send it back to Browning and have it fixed right...

Browning will fix it right. But don't be surprised if it's gone for 6 months.

Probably the trigger guard screw has backed out or broke. Take the buttstock off and check - the screw is at the lowest part of the receiver. Might also have been loosened by someone trying to remove your trigger lock?? Don't attempt to use the gun without the guard. Just a bad idea. You might get away with it if the safety is on but otherwise any little snag or thread or bump might be a small problem initiator...
