trigger finger

I have noticed that when shooting different types of guns that my trigger finger placement on the trigger changes some.
What do you shoot and what is your relationship between the trigger and finger.
I feel that trigger control is one of the keys to perfect shooting!!!(along with sight alignment)
Never too old to learn............

I've found the same thing. On my Glock 30 and the my HK P7, I've found that I shoot better if my finger placement is closer to the first joint. This is not true with my Ruger MkIIs or my USP.

I find that different pistols require different finger placent or hold modifications.

For example, I have problems switching from a 1911 with single-column mag to the fatter grip of my Para P12. When I first pick up the P12, I notice a tendency to 'push' the trigger to the left - and the groups show the pattern-shift to the left.

It just takes some discipline to adjust the grip-hold for each gun to assure straight-back trigger pressure for each gun.
