Trigger/action work on Ruger SuperRedhawk

Lethal Farce

New member
I put the Wolfe spring kit in my SRH and smoothed the obvious points that looked kinda rough w/ manufacturing marks. It still has a fairly ppor trigger w/ a noticable clik/ detent like feel before break. Any ideas or where to look for information on Ruger action jobs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Get the Kuhnhausen "Ruger Double Action" $20.99 inc shipping from MidwayUSA.

I used the information in there to do the trigger on a RH even though it does not cover the RH/SRH directly, it does cover the Speed Six on which they are based...

UK2TX.

I've had my Super redhawk fot two weeks, and 200 rounds, and was pleased with everything except the creep in the trigger. I was going to check it out at some point, but after reading your post I checked tonight. I didn't realize the basic design of the two triggers was the same.

My first Security Six trigger job is on my wife's gun which is still in daily service with us, and it's 24 years old . There have been several since.

I've now done my first SRH trigger, and the creep is gone!

Thanks.
