Trapdoor BPCR project

I have finally got most of the parts amassed to build up a parts gun trapdoor 45-70 for BPCR competition. - do however have a few questions I need to ask first and foremost is what parts do I need to replace to put a set trigger on this rifle? What tumbler sear etc. Also what contour of octagon barrel blank do I need to use to have everything sized properly I was thinking a #1 sharps taper.

I can't help on the barrel size, maybe if you googled Gemmer Trapdoor you could get somebody to tell you what was on theirs.

The Pedersoli Officer's Model Trapdoor has a single set trigger that you might could use or copy.

Thought very hard about using the pedersoli parts was planning on it in fact just need to find out which original springfield parts I need to swap out for the pedersolli parts in the springfiels assemblies. I already have an original lock (complete) and an original rifle trigger assembly which is where all the swapping will occur right?
