If you did draw him as an opponent he'd be the one with the problem.
He can do all the trick shots he wants but can he compete when the pressure is on? Has he won any national championships in any target discipline? He's sure fancy but can he get the job done shooting FITASC or any another games where he doesn't throw the targets himself?
Secondly, the crowd expects him to win. He's facing a much greater risk of humiliation than you. He's making his living at this and he HAS to win and you are an unknown quantity. Even if you give him a moderate run for his money then you can hold your head high.
If you walk into the box thinking you are finished then you might as well go home.
