Transporting hazardous material

If I live in Pennsylvania and happen to travel to Texas and am able to buy reloading supplies, can I legally carry primers and powder in my suitcase just as I would if the components were in were fully formed cartridges?

Best to think it over.

It appears the TSA may prohibit it.
It does and much to my surprise, I got busted when was not carrying anything like this. It was picking up some kind of chemical or powder residue, off my jacket. Took a bit of time to clear it up before I got on my way. .....

Be Safe !!!

Thanks, everyone. From the website, gun powder is definitely restricted. Explosives are as well, so that would include primers.

Just like trying to mail ammo w/ the USPS.. a BIG NO NO...

I recently wanted to send a die w/ round stuck in it back to be removed.. Maker said NO
