So it's now known - it was a full auto Uzi ! Hardly suitable for a 9 year old . Most of us have learned to shoot at 7-8 years as I did. But mine was a single shot 22 rf . Sad story .

Sad story, true, but completely avoidable.

Both our boys were shooting my MP5 a number of years younger than that, and controlling the gun was never an issue, even on their own.

By the time they were her age, they had more rounds downrange full auto, than most adults, and through a variety of SMG's.

Ive taught a number of people to shoot full auto weapons over the years, including a number of kids, and all did well and had a great time. Never once had any kind of close call either. If taught properly, and shown proper technique, along with a little common sense, everyone has fun, learns something, and does it safely.
