Trail Gun

Just got a new trail gun today.....hehe. The only hiking I do anymore is down the trail to the restroom from my recliner. Anyway I picked this up at my LGS and hope to get it out tomorrow. This photo is what was posted on GunBroker, I'll take a couple and substitute.

Its a Freedom Arms M97, 44SP, 5 shot, 4.25" barrel. Love 44SP's.

That "Trail Gun" is ideal for your trail from your recliner to your restroom. I cannot think of any gun that would be better.

I like your shiny new toy, can play with it?
Dang, now I have to clean the drool off my keyboard. Thanks a alot.;)

Nice Field Grade claimbuster. I don't see a ring on the cylinder... that's a bonus. Usually everyone has to cock and dry fire a FA at least once, so it's nice to see one that has yet to be cocked. Looks to be ivory micarta grips and a round butt (hard to tell in that photo)... so those are neat upgrades.
Be careful on that hike from the family room to the can... cougars tend to hid in bedroom closets ya' know. :p

That is a sweet little revolver. I'd love to have one. I guess instead of champagne taste and a beer budget, I have Freedom Arms taste and a Ruger budget. Let us know how it shoots. And, Creeper, cougars tend to hide in bars.
