Traditions Vs. Pietta

Hi, I'm considering getting a 1858 revolver, but I am curious of the difference between Traditions New Army 1858 Revolver, and Pietta 1858 Revolver?
(Blued or steel frame versions)

none, Traditions revolvers are made by Pietta and put in a Traditions box. There's a post on this already. I have a "traditions" 1860 army .44cal steel frame and its stamped pietta and all the paperwork is from pietta.

Yes, keep in mind that there are only two companies in the World now making cap and ball revolvers: Pietta and Uberti (Pedersoli offers a special target 1858 Remington, but it is made with Uberti parts). All the other names are importers of Pietta and Uberti guns; Traditions, Cimarron, etc. Years ago, Navy Arms was the main importer and their name can be found stamped on 1960s and '70s Ubertis and the now defunct Euroarms Co pistols.
