Trade or not to trade

I have been offered a Savage model 99cd in .308 to trade for an unfired Winchester model 70 in 7mm rem mag. Good deal? I have looked both guns up and can't decide. The Savage is a D series. Any suggestions? I hope I'm in the right forum, thanks. Breeze
 
I am the proud owner of a 99F in .300 Savage,(10 years) as I am recoil sensitive I would take the Savage in .308 in stead of the Magnum; but an unfired model 70 is worth a ton more in any caliber. And if your a good shot you can shoot a lot farther with the magnum. I; however am only a fair shot so I limit myself to 300 yards or less, but not with the Savage, thats about a 200 yard gun. I use a .280 rem for long shots. Just my .02 cents
