Tracker 327 , What A Beautiful Trigger

My daughters boyfriend just got a 4" Taurus Tracker because Kentucky Gun Club kept selling out the 66's the same day they came in. I was expecting a gritty trigger that would need lots of shooting in and a bit of polishing. Boy was I wrong.
That thing shoots beautifully, nearly as good as my Smith 28 with a worked action. Nice moderately light gun handled well and the extra 7th round doesn't make it look pregnant either. The grip is super soft, almost spongy and really sucks up the blast of 158 gr magnums. I'm sure the barrel vents help keep the kick down some as well.
My daughters girly girl friend who never shot a gun even did well with it. She touched off a magnum and the muzzle jump didn't look too bad even though she was scared of the thing.
The Tracker has a very nice matte finish shows no sign of timing issues or any other vices that I could see. About the only thing I could see that people might not like is the round rubber grip. It could be a bit longer and some might find it to be too spongy. For me I would take one in a minute.:D

Aaaaahhhhh. What's the difference 327, 627. 300 one way or the other still a nice shooting piece. Must be a Freudian slip because I always liked 327 Camaros.

I have gotten lucky and ended up with some Taurus revolvers with very nice triggers. Most were mediocre. A few were terrible. It seems to be luck of the draw. The best ones were nice guns. I still own a Model 689 that has a very good trigger.
