To convert, or not convert, THAT is the question!

Yup!

I could look at a million photos of 1851 Colts. And when you showed me the million and first photo, I would still say, "Dang...Thats purdy pistol."

Almost forgot my "little gun" Navy Arms / Uberti 1974 (see proof marks) Grisswold & Gunnison or Leech Rigdon

Must agree on th '51 s purty pistols. I am really diggin on the little sherrifs model though. Heck I would have that one even if it is a brass frame.Sweet.

Never get tried of looking at the 51's. I wish someone would market a Richards-Mason "kit" I would like to do at least one if not more.
I think this is a good place to list my 51's....again.

And I just had an empty holster I was trying to find a boarder for. Dang. Wife thinks the 7 BP pistols I have is overkill. Well, actually, she hasn't ever seen them all at once. Just a few together now and then, but I think she can add pretty well.

I have to get to work finding more "toys".
:D:D:D

A pair of 1847 Ubertis

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - a trio of 1849's. The top one was plowed up in a field here by my grandfather in about 1941 and has a name & date scratched into the butt; C Smith April 29, 1861. The second is another original Colt, and the bottom is a modern reproduction.

There are several more that I don't have pics of - 1851 Griswold & Gunnison's, 1860's, and 1861's.

Nice bunch of ROAs JBar.

Then there are the F series NIB 2nd Gens - I really need to redo this picture though cause the Walker isnt in it.
