Touching up parkerizing

Today, my mantra should be "I am a dumb ass, I am a dumb ass".

Picked up my nice, newly parkerized rifle from the gunsmith. The one I lovingly prepped and polished, the one that I installed a nice Hart bull barrel on, go her all ready to go. Decided that I wanted a black rifle, so off she went to be parkerized. The finish is exactly what I wanted. Nice deep flat black. Tonight I popped that bad boy into the synthetic stock, mounted the ring bases and DRAGGED THE BARREL ACROSS THE DARN WORKBENCH!!!! I put a nice 4" stratch right down the barrel.

So, the question is, can anyone recommend a parkerizing touch up product?

Thanks,

Joe (Feeling really dumb.)

Joe, how deep is the scratch? I had a friend with a parkerized shotgun, I touched it up for him (a few wear spots and scratches here and there ) with some 44/40 blue - you could not tell where the parkerizing ended and the blue began, especially after re-oiling the gun.

The bead-blasted surface helps with the blending...
