Touching up a worn gold trigger?

Hey! I have several shotguns that the gold plating has worn off the trigger. Are there any products out there that you can touch up or give a worn trigger a gold effect?

There used to be such a product. I used it to touch up guns I took in trade in my store. That was a long time ago, it came from Brownell's. Might check with them.
But, I have to ask: Why? If the guns are used it will just wear off again.
If displayed for pretty only, go ahead and get replated.

Paint looks nothing like plating.
The triggers can be brush plated without removing them from the guns, but the proper method is to remove them, polish, and then replate.

Been thar and done that !!!

No, but I do gold plating.
If you are looking for the best method and possibly better than the OEM, then this is the way to go. I would not settle for the brush method. ...

Be Safe !!!

Replating is the best way to go. I suppose If you are worried about the plating wearing through, you could have it plated with titanium nitride.
