Took the scope off the Neos.

I took the scope off my Neos as I was shooting unsupported at a range. At seven yard I shot a bit better with the open sights. The scope really adds to the weight of the gun. Hmmmm . . . . .

Do what you will with your own pistol, of course, but I didn't care at all for the standard sights on the Neos, and they are a common complaint. Mine carries a red dot, mounted pretty much as far back on the rail as I can mount it, so that its weight is carried directly over my hand and it doesn't affect balance much. The six inch barrel (mine) is a bit front-heavy anyway, though, so it makes since that you don't want to add anything to that imbalance.

Good ideas thanks

I hadn't thought about a red dot, and I may look into getting one of those front sights. I'd already planned to pain my front sight.
