Too many for good sense?

With the addition of the Colt Cobra I bagged at a show today I am now up to 18 revolvers in 38 Special. Plus 3 more in 38 S&W. The 38 revolver is a monkey on my back.

Well, what did good sense ever do for you, anyway?

I don't have that many 38 or 357 k-frames, but I have way more than enough. Blued, stainless, nickel - it's all good.

Man, I've got a LONG way to go! I only have one 38 and one 357. Maybe the wife won't know if I come home with 36 more in the next week or two?

As long as you enjoy what you are doing and are not financially hurting yourself, who cares? I'd venture to say the majority of us on this board have "too many" by some measure.

Too many for good sense? What about the bike guy with 3 or 4 bikes, or the fly-fisherman with 10 fly-rods, the car collector with a dozen cars, the sports fanatic with 100 pieces of memorabilia or the movie buff with 6K movies? I say they have more than good sense would afford. :D

The concept of having too many revolvers, or any other gun, is not healthy. Get beyond such self-imposed paradigms and expand your consciousness to a higher plane.

I generally don't count... but I do know I don't even have one 38 special chambered revolver... got 357's & 38 S&W well covered... ( even have 2 guns in 357 Maximum... I do however, have a 38 S&W snubbie on my to buy list for this year though :)

BTW... SAXON... not only do you have quantity, but you seem to have quality pieces as well

Has some serious finish issues but I figured for $325 I could play with it some.
