Tommy Lee Jones, star of countless movies depicting violent acts commited by people with guns is now on the radio telling sportsmen that a vote for Al Gore will not threaten their right to hunt or own a "hunting"rifle. How very touching.

I don`t think I own any of his films but if I do they are destined for the round file.

I heard it while flippin' through the stations and came across KZ106 out of Chatanooga, TN. I thought I was gonna puke. They even mentioned something about the number of felons that were turned away from buyin' AK-47s (I swear thats what I thought I heard!!) by the Brady Bill. Talk about wanting to gag. I thought about wasting a call into the station to ask why they'd broadcast such propoganda.. but I had better things to do.. ya know.

Someone told me Darrel Waltrip was calling folks telling them how Gore wants to re-interpret the 2nd Amendment! I hope so. I think NASCAR has more weight than Hollywood.

Tommy Lee Jones is just another member of the Mega Millionaire Marxist Hollywood set, and has been as long as he's been in Tinsel Town. Just because he has a good-ol'-boy country twang, doesn't mean that he doesn't hate the Constitution and love Karl Marx.

By the way, wasn't Jones a draft dodger during the Veitnam war??????

fmjcafe - if you have a movie of his, sell it to an acquaintance, get a receipt, then mail a photocopy of the receipt to Mr. Jones, explaining how he will be short the royalty from one less movie sale due to his misleading statements.

Madison,

I got the Darryl Waltrip phone call. It was actually pretty well done and clearly aimed at the average Joe American. Sort of like Darryl was just shootin' the breeze with you down at the local honky tonk. I give it a thumbs up.
