Rosie O'Donnell is concerned only about getting her face in the paper or on tv for publicity reasons,she is not concerned w/our amendment rights.The guns being used in these crimes are very rarely obtained in a legal fashion.As far as accidents involving children obtaining unsecured handguns owned by negligent parents,I beleive the parents should be held responsible as they would be in other situations if the child were a minor.The gun laws in place govern law abiding citizens,they do nothing to remove illegal guns from our streets.Criminals can obtain handguns as well as assault weapons off the streets just as easily as drugs,which is a battle our gov. is losing.So,they decided to punish the good people of this country.Ban guns,prohibition didn't stop people from obtaining liquor,& "illegal" drugs can be obtained in any school or on any street corner in the US.People like Rosie O'Donnell will use any lame excuse to validate gun control.For instance,your much more likely to committ suicide if you keep a handgun accessible in your home.Well then I guess we should'nt keep any pills,ropes,razor blades ect. in our homes either,as they can all serve the same unspeakable purpose.Criminals in this country must be sittin' back & laughing, waiting for our guns to be taken from us.Then,they will truly have free reign to make targets of an unprotected society.To Rosie & all the other gun control advocates:Take your fight up w/ the scum committing these crimes,and leave the law abiding citizens & The Constitution of The United States of America alone!Get it through your collective heads,guns do not kill people,the scum I mentioned above kills people!
