Lemme just start by saying the Federal std.pressure nyclads RECOIL-way too much muzzle flash. I could not imagine touching off a +p round, would not be fun. Today at the range the 148WC was pleasant and shot POA, the 110grains were softer, but seemed louder. Lots of experimenting to do.

Did you try both the 125 and 158 standard pressure nyclads?

My understanding is that the stnadard pressure 125 nyclad was designed for 2" barrels. I do have a box of the 125's but the only gun I have in that claiber is a 4" security six.

Have tried Cor-Bon in low light drills. Flash was not overly much and the colour was such that night vision was not affected. We are talkin VERY low light.

My model 36 weighs 25 oz loaded with 125gr +P and recoil not bad at all. Can hold on target during rapid fire.

That muzzle could scare the crud out of an assailant though. Is your sunbbie magnum rated? Try 158 Grain 357 Magnum FMJ. It will make all the others seem tame.

The 110gr was louder, but probably did recoil less. I practice with Winclean 125gr target ammo. Low recoiling for a 342, but you still don't want to shoot a couple of boxes through on a trip to the range. For carry I use the 90gr Magsafe. Big boom, but a managable recoil. I do not recommend a +P 125gr or 158gr load. Keep the bullets light.

Thanks to all for input, Jeff I think were on same wavelenght. Have you done any gelatin test with magsafe? There is so much info out there.I am a PA in CV surgery and have seen my share of shootings. What I have learned is this-get the bullet to the organ you want to disrupt. Make that multiple bullets, thus low recoil quick follow up. I almost sold my Ti after first try.Glad I didnt cause I will carry this thing it is super light. Great.
