I'm in my rented motorized wheelchair at my boyfriend's house to recuperate. I'll be non-self-propelled for a month or two, during which time I'll probably be quite the online participant. Thanks for all the well-wishes and it's good to be (mostly) back! :)

So glad you are so far along on your way back. If you have a two battery wheelchair, you can switch the hookup from parallel to series and get awesome acceleration. They can go over backwards thay way tho and need recharging more often.

Tamara I am glad you are home. But if you call this a scratch I would hate to see what you consider something serious. My hopes and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.


P.S. A Harley would have cut right through that car you know :)

Speaking of Python.... Just saw Eric Idle over the weekend. Short show but still good. At the start of the show they played 'Spot the Loonie' and the winner of the costume/garb contest was asked if he wanted to donate his liver. Of course that led to the off-stage but on camera operation.

I lucked out in getting front row center seats. Seriously! I only regret that we didn't bring an offering of Shrubbery!

Anyway, speedy recovery!

Welcome back, Tamara! Glad to hear you're on the mend.

During college, I worked for awhile as Assistant Service Manager for a motorcycle shop. There was more than one occasion when a customer didn't make a Monday appointment because he 'bought the farm' over the weekend. I developed an appreciation, and a high respect for bikes. Glad you're OK.
