i heard .22lr ammo won't keep as long as center fire ammo. i have both stored in ammo cans with moisture absorbers. i have some 7.62x39 from the 90's that i recently shot. they where 100% fine, no misfires.

i wanted to store quite a bit of the wal mart federal bulk .22lr but im not so sure. has anyone here shot 10+ year old .22lr?

i also heard that a brass case will start to break down after about 50 years. anyone have some ww2 ammo breaking down?

what moisture absorbers should i order from here:

A couple of months ago I shot a few boxes of 28 year old .22s that I found in my stash. They were stored in a cardboard box in the back of a closet and they still looked new and worked perfectly. Stock up, they won't go bad.
