HKLVR, that is a whole nutter ball game. Do you really HAVE to, or do you want to tear everything apart for the fun of it? That is not a part normally removed for cleaning and a good spray cleaner should work fine.
IF you insist, read the following at least twice before doing anything, and get a place to work that is clear of junk.
Place the safety in the off (up) position and remove the slide from the frame. Turn the slide upside down. Using a punch or small screwdriver push forward on the little shelf on the firing pin until the firing pin clears the safety. (The firing pin will stick out about 1/2 inch from the breech face.) Hold it there (needle nose pliers will work) and turn the safety to a position midway between the off and on positions.
Insert a small screwdriver in one of the slots in the safety and push it to the right (as normally thought of) but anyway toward the thumbpiece side. NOTE NOTE. When the safety comes out, the firing pin and spring will take off if you let them. Let the firing pin back easy, and out of the slide. Also the safety detent plunger and spring will pop out of the slide into the hole where the safety was. Leave them alone, they won't fly.
Now, look down into the slide below where the firing pin was and you will see the loaded indicator and its spring. There is a hole in the indicator. Insert the punch into that hole and pull back and up. The indicator and spring will come up and can be eased out to the front. AGAIN NOTE. These parts can also fly away.
Reassemble in reverse order. Use a small screwdriver to push the safety plunger into the slide so you can get the safety in.
If you can do this without losing any parts, congratulations!
