I just got my Crossbreed supertuck yesterday. Its very comfortable i can't wait till its broken in. Any tips on how to break in the leather backing any faster?

????
Don't...
It should be flexible it is pretty comfortable, at least within a day or two.
I wouldn't rub any type of oil or steam it or anything like that.

No oils, leather dressings, soaking in water or anything else. All of these will soften the leather, it'll stretch and you'll have ruined the holster.
If you just insist on putting something on the holster to "preserve" it, contact the manufacturer and ask him what, if anything he recommends.
Most will tell you NO oils, dressing, etc.

To break in a holster that's too tight, wrap the gun in a sheet of wax paper, plastic wrap, or a plastic bag and insert the gun in the holster.
Let stand for a few hours to overnight.
If it's still too tight, add one more layer of paper or plastic and left stand longer.

Maintenance is applying a coat of a good wax.

To make the holster more comfortable to wear, the only way is to wear it.

Use it, use it, use it. Oh, and use it.

A stubborn thumb break/snap can be rolled and pulled by hand until it's long enough to snap. Don't get crazy with it and use a lever or anything.

Finally, just leaving the gun in the holster in the safe won't break it in. You have to actually use it (i.e. wear it and remove and re-insert gun).

You've got a Crossbreed Supertuck. There are no thumb straps to deal with and with the exception of the "body side", all else is kydex. There really shouldnt be much to break-in other than working the leather side. I would just manipulate the leather; bend it back and forth in all directions to help loosen the grain. You dont want to be too agressive and fold the leather, but give it a good work. That ought to help it conform to your body. To finish the job, just wear it and draw, wear it and draw, wear it and draw. Not much else to it.

Oh, make sure your pistol isnt loaded while breaking in the holster ;)

I really think if you wear it for a week it will be broken in. I have one. It wasn't bad when i got it and it was very comfortable within a week. Maybe my hip is what was broken in though:)

Put holster on belt. Put gun in holster. Wear. Repeat.

Do not put any type of oil or omitment on the holster to help break it in.
