Timney Trigger adjustment question

I FINALLY got my 1895 Chilean Mauser refinished and am installing the parts. I have a Timney trigger for it, the gold one with adjustment from 1.5-4 lbs. I have misplaced the instructions though, and couldn't find Timney Triggers on line any more. Can anyone tell me where the new website is, or just cut to the chase and tell me which of the two set screws to adjust to reduce the trigger pull weight? It feels closer to 10 lbs right now. Thanks!

A long piece of string and a two-pound sack of sugar will tell you if you're over or under. :) I happen to have spring scales for the purpose, but there are plenty of known-weight items you can hang from the loop of string.

Thanks all! I finally got it resolved. I've had to move twice since this post began. It feels very good now. Unfortunately I now have to figure out something about the sights. I put a nice laminated stock on it with a high comb and it has peep sights [which I could never hit the broad side of a barn with in the first place]. I can either cut the stock's comb off and use the peep sights or try to attach a scope [scope it my preference].

Thanks again, and sorry for the delay in responding.
