Timney Replacement Trigger - Savage Axis

I just replaced the factory trigger in my Savage Axis with a Timney drop in. The installation went pretty smooth, other than the final adjustment.

Here's my question: To get the pull I wanted, I had to back the trigger screw out about 4 turns. Is this excessive? The pull is right at 2.75 pounds and feels good. The safety is working great. I am just worried that the trigger screw is out too far? Should I Loctite it with some blue Loctite?

I put a Timney in my Savage 110 and After all adjustments were.made I use fingernail polish, but if you shoot it a lot you need to check fingernail polish for cracking, usually it doesn't but better safe than sorry.,,,,;)
