I'm sure this has been ask before but.....
How many days/nights a week and hours do you spend with your guns. You know admiring, drooling over and fondling ? Wiping them down remembering why you bought a specific piece what your favorite thing about each one is? You know just enjoying your collection ;) Inquiring minds want to know
I know that I do this at least once a week :)

I don't get out the entire collection every week or every month, it'd take too long. But, I do handle, fondle, wipe down etc several every week and sometimes everyday. FWIW YMMV VWP NWEI LS/MFT

Which ever couple of guns go to the the range with me on my weekly visit, are the only firearms I handle all week.

Almost every night for me. Type of firearm depends on which one of them I feel like handling, caressing, drooling over, etc. :)

Exceptions are made for new acquisitions. Case in my point - my new SA 1911-A1 is the first 1911 style handgun I've owned. Every night for the past week I've taken it out of the safe and practiced procedures. In fact, it's two feet away as I type this. :D

Rationale is, when I DO take it to the range a couple of weeks from now, I want everything to be second nature.

I'm kinda like Cliff. I buy/trade fairly often. I usually spend alot of time with whatever I have that's new until I am very familiar with it. If I haven't gotten anything new in a while, then I go back in the safe and pull out something I haven't worked with in a while and start the familiarization process over again.

About 3-4 times a week, I'll pull more than one gun out of storage and love, fondle, and carress it.

However, I also keep a gun in the car, nightstand, and office drawer. I doubt that a day goes by where i don't at least admire whatever is there. And that's apart from when I take it out for carry!

Some of mine stay with relatives, so I can't see them every day or week. However, those at home get at least a few minutes of 'quality time' every couple of days!
When I get to visit the others, we are usually together for a few hours or so. (Heavy sigh)

Carry a sig 220 or a S&W 36(old) so these get handled every day.Others when I shoot them.

I usually work over what I'm using for carry.
I also play with the most recent purchase to become familiar with it ;)

Happy Shooting :)

I thought I was the only on that does this! The gun safes are in the same room as the computers, and when I am down loading or fireing up the computer I open the safes up and pul out a gun or two. I'm glad that in this P.C. world of ours there are still gun LOVERS.
