Here's my letter to the editor. They can't get it right to save their skins, nor do they want to.

Re: Inaccurate photo caption in Collectors Edition.
Dear Editor:
I am writing to you to point out a hopefully unintentional error on your part. On page 65 of your Collectors Edition, there is a photo by DeCesare of a little girl in LA “playing with her sister- next to a gun”. I know that Time Warner, your parent company, has a pretty clear editorial position in support of any and every gun-control idea that comes along. Coming in the midst of the current debate about mandatory “child safety” measures, I hope you’ll agree that any inaccuracies on your part could be shall we say misconstrued as more “advocacy journalism”. That is why I know you’ll issue a retraction on the caption. For you see, the “gun”, as anyone who bothered to check or had ANY familiarity with “guns”, is a CO-2-powered AIR pistol, made by Crossman. This is not a firearm by anyone’s definition. While the accurate description of the air-pistol is not as “sexy” and gripping as the one you used, nor would it advance the agenda of more gun control, I know that your interest in journalistic integrity overrides any possible political opinions you have. I’m sure printing my letter would also go a long way in showing honest firearms-owning Amercians that you are not the biased entity you would otherwise appear to be. Looking forward to the correction.
Sincerely
Sim jr
