Time to OCW another load!! Norma Oryx 165gr.

The time has come to load up another load tailored to my CZ .308.

The components will be Norma cases, Fiocchi LR primers and Norma Oryx 165gr bullets.

There will be two powders: N135 and N140. If I have to choose, I'll probably go with N140.

As usual, I lack exact data for my chosen components and so, before I start metering, I'd like to run my numbers passed the board.

Comparable data found is the following:

N135 (based on a Speer BT) 38.3gr-44.1gr (max FPS 2700)
N140 (same as above) 40.1gr-46.3gr (max FPS 2750)

N135 (based on a Speer BT) 38.8gr-42.7gr (max FPS 2627)
N140 (same as above) 40.6gr-46.3gr (max FPS 2680)

So my likely min/max will be the following:

N135 38.5gr-43.5gr
N140 40.4gr-46.3gr

Does anyone have any reasons to think these would not suit?

I think that the problem is that we do not have access to that powder. I would be using 3031, 4064, H414 or 4350 to do the same.

Yeah. I suppose that would complicate things.

I'll just have to trust my ability to read over-pressure signs!!
