Time for post election clean up (Berger, Memo Forgeries and all that)

Well, the election is over. It's time to clean up the mess.

What's going to happen to Sandy Berger the classified document burglar? Last thing I heard was that he confessed to doing it. Is that all there is to it? What part did Kerry and his people play in this crime? What was Berger's motive for doing this? I'd like to hear what's going on with this from some reliable source, like the Justice Department. I realize that they won't comment on any ongoing investigations but they have had several months to investigate this. Why no media coverage of this? Why isn't Court TV covering this? It's more important than the Scott Peterson trial

Why haven't we heard anything about an investigation into the forged documents that CBS tried to pawn off as the real thing? CBS said that right after the election they would get to the bottom of it. Well the election is over and I haven't heard squat about it from CBS or anyone else. I also haven't heard squat from the FCC or FBI on the issues of trying to influence a national election with a criminal act. If CBS didn't commit a crime here I want to hear about it from some kind of official source, not some internet BS source.

Why haven't we seen any Law Enforcement report on the Kerry shotgun acceptance? If it wasn't a Federal crime was it a State crime? I, for one, want to see it in writing from the ATF or the appropriate State Law Enforcement agency and I want to hear a reasonable explanation as to why it wasn't a crime. This is the kind of activity that bites the average Joe in the butt, if Kerry is going to get a pass on it I would like to know who is giving him that pass and if the average Joe will get a pass on it from now on. I don't want to hear it from some jerk on the internet who just wants it to go away.

Finally, the Treason issue. It would appear the Kerry genuinely committed some sort of treasonous act by negotiating with the enemy without State Department authorization and by giving "Aid and Comfort" to the enemy in the form of words that were used by the North Vietnamese to demoralize our POWs during captivity. This is one we can't let slide because, once again, this is the kind of stuff that the average Joe would go down for. Charles Jenkins was AWOL for 39 years and they still prosecuted him, there should be no statute of limitations on Kerry's wartime crimes either.
 
Didn't Ted Kennedy saying something like: "We don't want to have two sets of laws in this country"?

This whole "Liberal" bunch surely have to sets of standards: one for them, allowing everything, and one for the unwashed masses that don't agree with their elitist view 110 %.
 
I would like to see the "double voters" found guilty of a Federal felony. Evidently there are people who vote in their home state and whatever state they have a vacation home in. That and the dead voting often in Chicago, etc.
 
Patrick, . . . I'm in your camp, . . . but I really think you are singing to the choir, . . . preaching to the clergy, . . . y'know?

I'm too much of a dumb ol redneck to know how to go about getting it done, but there should orta be some way to get these things you mentioned off of ground zero.

Trouble is, I think, . . . it would be one of those political suicide missions for whoever took it on, . . . therefore there ain't gonna be any politicos do it and the rest of us don't have the connections, cash, or time to do it.

Too bad we don't have a Republican/Conservative "60 Minutes" TV show to bounce it around. About all I know would be the Sinclair TV stations that was going to do the "Stolen Honor" thing on Kerry till the feds pounced on them. You might get their point/counterpoint spokesman kicking it around, . . . won't hurt if he'll keep stirring it, . . . maybe get enough stink going that old poodle head just might boogie off to be with his buddy Arafat. Take the Breck girl with him to make sure Arafat's widow is properly represented in the French courts.

Years ago when William Simon resigned as Secretary of the Treasury he was presented with a submachine gun. The state of New Jersey iirc would not let him keep it. He was working for President Reagan and maybe the "R" was in the way or something.

All this talk about the Republicans meeting the rest of the country halfway, what about the "D"s doing the meeting. Look at those silly kids in Boulder Colorado that locked themselves in their school. They were demanding to meet with the Repubs. They could have called and made an appointment and probably gotten a meeting.
 
I dont think we'll hear much more of it. Maybe on talk radio, and MAYBE on Fox. but for the most part, they are allowed to get away with it/.

Col.Jeff Cooper always points out that we are still waiting for Vince Fosters' killer/killers to be brought to justice and that OJ and Lon Horiuchi walk around free.
