tikka t3 trigger

just picked up a t3 lite and was reading about the trigger and the manual states u can set the trigger by pushing it forward till it stops. then the rifle can be fired with the lightest touch. I tried doing this but the trigger will not move forward at all. Does anyone know if i need to do something to the trigger
mechanism before the trigger will work in this manner or maybe this is only for the t3 hunter and not the lite.(its the same manual )

I have one too.As far as I know the only info about the trigger is it is 2-4 pound adjustable

I'm not aware of Tikkas having this option. I had 2 and neither had a set trigger. Some Tikka target models may come with this type of trigger, but neither of mine did.

That's the CZ 550 that has the set trigger.

From what I've heard, Tikka doesn't export the set trigger T3 to the US, don't know why.
