anyone know were i would be able to get a stock for my tikka t3
? prefer wooden but laminate that looks close to a wood grain would do thanks

To the best of my knowledge no one makes an aftermarket wood or laminated stock for the T-3. Bell and carlson offers a fiberglass aftermarket stock, but that is it.

You may look around on various forums in the classified ads for someone who has a factory stock for sale where they have put one of the B&C stocks on. But I would doubt you will have much luck.

Here is the B&C.

After owning a T-3, I'd just leave it as is. The B&C stocks don't offer any improvement over factory and are actually about 1/2 lb heavier. That offsets the T-3's best asset, light weight.

My link above is to a site that provides wood stocks inlet for the T3. Is this not what you mean? Helmick Arms also does, though their prices are a little more expensive.

If you know some reason these don't count, I'd be interested to know why (before I spend real dollars ).

When I first looked at the site I did not see the T-3 listed. A closer look shows it is. I did say
To the best of my knowledge

Now I know of another source. But in my opinion, I'd still stay with the factory stock. You would be spending money, and getting nothing better in return in my experience, just different.

I also noticed there is a 12 week wait to get one for the T-3. Something to think about.

I would really like to get one of these for it (but as far as I know these T3s aren't in America yet):

These are now available in the U.S. Plenty available on Gunbroker but they run around $1600.

Thumbhole stock

How about a stock of similar composite material as the original, but with a thumb-hole, possibly folding? Where do you find those besides Germany / UK?

I see a lot of these in greet, which I would be ok with, but Id love a black thumbhole stock just becasue it looks so tactical and in-lne with the rifle design.
