tikka t3 scout ctr

Im thinking about getting a Tikka t3 scout ctr in 308. My ? is what is the difference in the tikka t3 scout ctr and the tikka t3 tactical? Does anyone have any input on either of these rifles? Thanks.
 
They both have a 20" barrel the scout is msrp 950 and the tactical is msrp at 1696 Im mostly wondering why the price difference Im really leaning toward the scout.
 
I have a T3 Scout in 223. I started out with a T3 Varmint that I thought had a 1-8" twist. It shot 52 gr BTHP very well, but when I went up to 75 gr TAP ammo I found my twist was actually 1-12". That gun could not stabilize the heavier round so I sold it and picked up the Scout with a 1-8" twist and a 20" barrel. The Scout is every bit as accurate as the Varmint with both the 52gr and 75gr. And the shooter barrel may have lost a bit of velocity compared to the varmint 26" barrel, but seems easier to handle. Scout is a very good rifle.
 
Hi guys. I am now debating as to on a diiferent rifle now. I'm in deployed in Afghanistan right now, so it will be a little while before i make my purchase and I can research and read some reviews and such. But, I would like to know what yall's thoughts were on which one I should get its between the Tikka t3 scout ctr 308, and Savage FCP-K 308. So what do you think. Thanks in advance.
