If anyone actually owns one for both ot these products, I curious from looking at them in ads if they really work. To me it looks like they both might be un-comfortable or hot. What are the good or bad points of these products as a holster?

I own a belly band type holster

Uncomfortable if you use standard size frames (Your size matters here).

Can be uncomfortable when driving if not positioned correctly.

Excellent for deep cover and, in my opinion, better than a behind the back position for complete cover. That way I KNOW if my firearm is exposed to the outside.

Plus, it helps suck in that gut. ;)

I have a Gunslinger Belly Band and it carries my full-size 1911 when I need deep concealment.Smartcarry/Thunderwear is more comfortable with smaller sized handguns. They all do what they're supposed to do which is conceal when a normal holster cannot be used.I would not use either for everyday carry though.

I wear the bellyhand as my holster of choice. It's the only thing I've found that's compatible with my body type that won't print. The "holes" in the elastic help it "breathe" so I don't get so sweaty in the summertime.
