I'd like to hear thoughts on this controversy...

I'm especially interested in what the conservatives here have to say about this.
Are these particular networks really slanted left? If so, why did they refuse to air this ad? All the other major networks, including FOX did air it.
I'm also curious about how this affects your views on freedom of religion and separation of church and state. Is it okay to supress a religion that you disagree with?
I bet this situation really turns some of your world views upside down. :D
 
Well, we've generally avoided discussing three things in L&P (except peripherally or in a rare direct civil rights/RKBA context, like the Pink Pistols, for instance), since nothing good ever comes of the discussions:

1) Religion
2) Abortion
3) Homosexuality

Since this thread is predicated on two of the three, well...
