Thoughts on CZ550 reciever as a base for a tactical rifle

I know the remington action is probably superior, but I really like controlled-feed mauser type actions. I'm thinking of building a 300WSM or .308 heavy barrel "tactical" rifle using a CZ550 action, as they are essentially a mauser action, are inexpensive and of high quality. Any thoughts on using this reciever in this role?
 
if you want controlled round feed the best two are the cz and the dakota .the cz is about a third of the cost of a dakota.
